When I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design Utilizing Technology, I had to design a large technology project that would be of use to me in my classroom for my final practicum project.  At the time of completing this degree, I was a Technology Specialist in the state of Georgia.  My project of choice was an virtual portfolio where the students could showcase all of the work that they had done in my technology class during the year.  My students created their portfolios and they were wonderful, but they were only available to students inside the school, once they left the school, they lost their work.  Recently, I was able to take my original idea and make it a true online portfolio that can grow a little each year and always be complete online.  You can find the steps to building student online portfolios in my resource on Teachers Pay Teachers.

In addition, I have recently created my own online teaching portfolio.
